Chapter Nineteen

      "I said, looks like they'll let anyone in this club," Jerry repeated. "I think I'll need to speak with the management about that, eh?"

      For the second time that evening, the power of speech failed Sabrina. Mouth agape, she could only stare at the figure before her. Not that words were necessary at the moment. For what she couldn't articulate, her body was 'speaking' all too clearly.

      As was Jerry's.

      "Looks to me like the cat has got yer tongue there, luv." Stepping to his still stunned ex, Jerry moved in for the kill. "What say I help ya get it back, eh?"

      Moments later, Jerry made good on his offer as he claimed Sabrina's lips for a slow, deep, languorous kiss. Never one to back down from a challenge, Sabrina wrapped her arms about Jerry's neck and gave herself over to him. Hey, if he wanted to kiss until the sun came up, that was fine by her! Engrossed in their battle of wills, they gave not a moment's notice to those around them.

      With a symphony of whoops and whistles swirling about her, a look of complete and utter devastation etched upon her face, Alexis turned and went back the way she came.
