Chapter Three

      ''What's the matter, cat got your tongue?'' the woman queried, stifling a laugh as Laura attempted to stammer a response. ''For a CEO of a major cosmetics company, you have atrocious social skills,'' the woman observed. ''I mean, you enter rooms without knocking; you never so much as introduce yourself - much less inquire about the other party, mind you - before speaking. And worst of all, you point at people when speaking to them,'' she noted, shaking her head mockingly. ''Luckily for you, I was raised better, and taught to overlook the shortcomings of the socially challenged.''

      Laura's cheeks were now the color of the bold beauty's lips. Her fists balled at her side, Laura began to step towards the woman, when a hand held up in protest stopped her.

      ''However, I assure you, that does not mean my parents raised me to be a fool. So, I suggest you step back - out of my face - otherwise, you will be removing my foot out of your--''

      ''Ah! I see you two have finally met,'' Stefan Cassadine observed dryly. ''Laura Spencer, I would like you to meet Sabrina DeLane...'' Stefan informed the former.

      All the while silently watching the latter.
